The Metropolitan Detroit Volunteer Administration Network (MDVAN) is a professional organization strengthening the compentencies of those who lead volunteers.  Our goals include:

• Offering a forum for professional support and personal growth, both formal and informal.
• Providing expertise in the field of volunteerism.
• Sharing ideas, information and resources among colleagues in the volunteerism field.
• Enriching volunteers, volunteer programs and volunteer managers.
• Encouraging collaborative efforts, professional status and program services.
• Advocating local volunteerism issues.
